The Moneymadeclear money guidance service was officially launched by the Chancellor, Rt Hon Alistair Darling MP in Liverpool just a few minutes ago!  The event took place at Liverpool Mutual Homes where one of our pathfinder partners, the Raise Consortium runs money guidance sessions.

The service is available via the website ( www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk ), phone (0300 500 5000) and by the end of this month, face-to-face initially in priority areas in London, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Full roll-out of the face-to-face service will happen later on in the year. 

The pathfinder has demonstrated that the Moneymadeclear service has provided real help at a time when people urgently needed it especially in the areas of budgeting, credit, borrowing and retirement planning which are not available elsewhere.  By giving people the confidence and ability to make the most of their money - now and in the future - the service will make a real difference to people's lives and their well-being.
